Hey it's actually pretty easy. The whole thing is made out of little origami triangles, the trick is being patient with how long it takes to make. I'm sure if you google a step by step demonstration you'll see what I mean.

I often get jealous of people like you, who can make stuffs like these. I do know the basic origami, but making something like this way out of my league. But, I would love to learn this at any cost.
