my mother: a memorial

My mom was from Japan and raising seven kids wasn't easy... She showed all of us kids how to do origami.

We made the baskets for Easter to take to school, and we made the cranes also. It was great to be taught this to remember this great art.

She passed away last Christmas and we all remember her by doing this art. We will always cherish origami in her memory.
